The Woodruff Career & Technical Center (WCTC) provides robust career and technical programming, enabling students to earn credentials and certifications. Programs are regularly added based on regional economic needs and student interests. Each of these programs prepares students for either immediate entry into the workforce or opportunities for post-secondary educational experiences. Many programs also feature dual credit opportunities, giving students a head start on their post-secondary education.
Students participate in a career inventory to help determine their interests and learn about programs through school presentations and counselors. Students enter most programs in their junior year and remain in their senior year, with opportunities for internships through work-based learning.
